Dear Straight from the
Hearter,
In each of
us there is a tremendous longing for love....to
be deeply known, received and cared for. There
is a profound inner security that comes from
being deeply connected to another. We can
feel the hard, frozen places inside us begin
to melt and soften as the circulation of love
warms us like the noontime sun. Love
IS the lifeblood of our spirit. Yet so many
of us, especially in intimate relationships,
come up against inner fears and restraints which
automatically place conditions on our openness.
We find ourselves creating a myriad of reasons
for emotionally holding back and pushing
love away.
The amount of love we allow in and out becomes
conditional and regulated by how someone else
is meeting our needs. This kind of conditional
love feels lonely and doesnt fulfill the
natural calling of our hearts to love freely
and generously. Love is our celebration of being
alive. How
do we expand our capacity to love? We must
make room for the experiences and people who
nourish us. Love begets love. The more love
we feel, the more we have to give.
Nurture yourself & others by sharing
your love with all you come in contact with,
and I mean ALL! The creatures, the stars, the
trees, the animals AND the people with whom
you share life. This is how we expand our capacity
to give and receive love.
Sheri
